The Detect Vario TR XL is an adjustable freeride pole with an extended foam grip for changing hand positions. Its two-section HTS 6.0 aluminum shaft adjusts from 110–140 cm using Speed Lock Plus.
Why We Like It
The grip extension is useful when moving across uneven terrain, and the Big Mountain basket provides support in softer snow. A Trigger ProG grip and Mesh strap keep the connection comfortable.
The Lab Fit Tip
Set the main grip to your usual downhill length. Use the foam extension when you need to move your hand lower on the shaft, and check both locking levers before heading out.
