Bataleon Astro AW Snowboard Bindings

The Bataleon Astro AsymWrap is a responsive all-mountain snowboard binding that preserves more lateral freedom than the FullWrap version. Its asymmetrical aluminum frame emphasizes heelside support and edge control while using less material around the outer side of the boot, allowing the rider to move, tweak, and absorb terrain more naturally. Premium straps and cushioning keep the fit secure and comfortable for long days.

Why We Like It

The Bataleon Astro AsymWrap is a responsive all-mountain snowboard binding that preserves more lateral freedom than the FullWrap version. The FullWrap chassis transfers boot movement quickly for riders who prefer direct edge response. Its asymmetrical aluminum frame emphasizes heelside support and edge control while using less material around the outer side of the boot, allowing the rider to move, tweak, and absorb terrain more naturally. AsymWrap allows more lateral movement than a full-wrap chassis while retaining heelside support.

The Lab Fit Tip

Size the Astro AW to the boot's actual outsole, then center toe and heel overhang with the boot installed. Adjust straps and highback around that boot; the stiff response should suit the board rather than overpower it.
