Protest PRTWixan JR Snow Jacket 2027

The insulated PRTWixan JR Snow Jacket is Protest's higher-protection junior option, pairing a 20,000 mm waterproof rating with 20,000 g/m2 breathability for long days and stormy weather. Critically taped seams, a waterproof front zipper, fixed hood, powder skirt, thumbhole wrist gaiters, lift-pass pocket, and high collar close off common entry points for snow. Its recycled polyester shell and PFC-free finish place it in Protest's PVRE Green series.

Why We Like It

The PRTWixan brings adult-level weather protection to a junior jacket. Its 20K/20K membrane is backed by critically taped seams, a waterproof zipper, powder skirt, wrist gaiters, and fixed hood. That combination makes sense for kids who ski or ride in storms, tend to run warm, or stay outside from first chair through the final run.

Key Features

• 20,000 mm waterproofing and 20,000 g/m2 breathability
• Insulated construction with polyester padding
• 100% recycled polyester shell with TPU membrane
• PVRE Green series and PFC-free durable water-repellent finish
• Critically taped seams and waterproof front zipper
• Regular fit and regular length
• Fixed hood, high collar, and powder skirt
• Thumbhole wrist gaiters
• Lift-pass pocket and zippered hand pockets

The Lab Fit Tip

The regular cut should allow a base layer and midlayer without restricting an overhead reach. Confirm the powder skirt closes comfortably over snow pants and the sleeves still cover the wrists with arms extended. Thumbhole cuffs sit inside gloves or mittens.

Sizing

Protest sizes this kids' outerwear by body height. Choose the child's usual U.S. size, then confirm height: Kids 4 (104) fits 40-42 in; Kids 6 (116) fits 44-46 in; Kids 8 (128) fits 49-51 in; Kids 10 (140) fits 54-56 in; Kids 12 (152) fits 58-61 in; Kids 14 (164) fits 63-65 in; Kids 16 (176) fits 68-70 in. If between sizes, choose the larger size for growth and heavier layering.
